On the 15th of June 2024; Junior “Makepisi” Maluleka hosted an event at Exclusive Carwash and Restaurant around Chavani village.
The event was called “Just a Chillas winter edition, Halfway to Wata Na?”
“Wata Na?” Is an annual event that takes place on the 16th of December, where youth of chavani village and neighbouring villages like Mbokota, Bungeni, Elim and more gather to socialise, have fun, chill, grill and play music.
Wata Na started as Just a Chillas, with just young people would gather, play music and just chill.
Where now it is slowly becoming a lifestyle.
Now these events include performances by local artists and friends.
One of the biggest artists that was featured to perform on the 15th was The Tsonga Trap Star from Bushbuckridge by the name of Canicee.
