Rapper, writer, Creative and Model Richi Rich has gained a cult-like following both in Alexandra and South Africa as a purveyor of Street Culture. The one-of-a-kind rapper is a vibe curator and a game changer both sonically and visually; from his really creative promotional photoshoots to his deep understanding of the Kwaito scene. His extensive body of work includes renowned projects such as North Gomora, ArtRap and Ghettofabulous. He aims to continue to inject the South African spirit into the new age Kwaito scene.
The Gomora based New Age Kwaito sensation is set to end of 2019 on a high note, the 30th of October 2019 marks the day the world gets the honor to see what @richirichworld1 describes as the ad-libs to his lifestyle and anthem to Alexandra with his new music video for his single DIRTY NORTH shot and directed by Kevin Matjeke @kevin_matjeke.
We wanted to paint a vivid picture of one of SA’s most famous and notorious hoods and visually define what RICHI RICH @richirichworld1 means by the dirty north and he has an authentic story to tell the world. -@Kevin_Matjeke The Video is an autopsy of a 21st lyrical century creative living in the northern townships of Johannesburg.
