BlackMyth (Real names Matimba Andy Manganyi) was born in Malamulele Limpopo on the 16th of June
BlackMyth is an artist with a melodic style that reflects his love for HIP HOP, RNB, AFROPOP
and Xitsonga Traditional Music.
Singer-songwriter Blackmyth's inspiring, healing and motivating music infuses urban sounds with
his mother tongue Xitsonga language putting him at the forefront of the new Generation of talents.
Born and raised in Malamulele , Blackmyth started recording music in 2015, In need of a platform to perform in 2017 he started an annual event ‘The People's Party' which has grown to be the biggest event in the Malamulele area with the likes of Musa Keys, Aymos
Shili, Mashbeatz, Ph Raw X, Frank Casino and many others as Headliners through out the years.
In the year 2021 he released his first full length project Mfana Ka Malamulele which was followed up by his latest album ‘Son of Gaza' 2022 which debuted at number 59 (#15 in SA) on the apple music Hip Hop Charts. Executive produced by Yosen Tim, the album also got a production touch
from the Legendary Hip Hop Producer Ph Raw X.
Being a man of many talents Blackmyth (Matimba Andy Manganyi) was Casted on the Xitsonga Telenovela ‘Giyani Land of Blood S2' as Dasco making him a powerhouse in the Xitsonga Community.
In the year 2022 he was featured on Mashbeatz album ‘This is Religion’ also featuring on Ph Raw Xs album ‘FGWL2’ on two songs
