Ariana Grande:
- becomes the first female artist in history to simultaneously hold the #1 album and Top 2 singles on the Official UK Charts.
- breaks the UK record for most album streams ever by a female artist in a week with thank you, next, surpassing her own record set by Sweetener in August of 2018.
- becomes the first female artist in history to replace herself at #1 on the UK Official Singles Chart.
- is the first female artist to have 3 singles concurrently in the Top 10 of the UK Official Singles Chart as a lead artist since Ruby Murray in 1955.
- joins Elvis Presley, John Lennon, and Justin Bieber as the only artists ever to score 3 #1 singles in under 100 days in the UK.
Ariana is having a ridiculously good 2019. Thank U, Next has broken the all-time single week US streaming record for an album by a female artist - over 300 million!
Earlier this year she made US chart history with her new song 7 Rings. The singer is the first artist whose first two number ones both debuted at number one, according to Billboard, the people who oversee the American music charts.
And if the momentum continues the successful star's latest album is set to become her third Number 1 album, following Dangerous Woman which was released in 2016, and Sweetener, which topped the chart only six months ago.
