How long did it take you to complete the whole song ?
The period it took to complete the song was 4 weeks. The reason it is so short is because we have been living in these conditions for a long time and some we have witnessed but couldn't do anything at that time because we were children.
Who did you work with and how was the experience working with them?
I worked with my friend who goes by the name "2 Guns" who is a singer/poet from Bloemfontein. We decided to work together for this song because he has the voice to make people listen and can write poetry that can make people not only to listen, but to imagine the story we are trying to tell. I just bring the flow or vibe on the second verse to make it more enjoyable but still speaking my own stories in my own hip hop'ish way.
Will there be a remix for this song or not?
Yes, there will be a remix but after the song has reached the spotlight or amount of people.

February 27, just days before Frieze LA, OTW by Vans and
S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA., the clothing and accessory collection by American artist Sterling Ruby, redefined the event experience. The moment in Downtown Los Angeles merged skateboarding, design and art for one-night-only, celebrating the communities that push culture forward.
Attendees were the first to view Vans' skateable installation, designed by PLAYLAB, INC., in collaboration with Sterling Ruby. A recreation of the steep incline hills made famous by San Francisco skateboarding, the temporary monument set the stage for a night of musical performances by SALEM and Paris Texas, a DJ set by Ty, and a live skate exhibition by Vans athletes including Curren Caples, Efron Danzig, Elijah Berle, Nick Michel, Roman Pabich, Rowan Zorilla, and Zion Wright.

The musical Ep "Nicely Done" is the result of the joint efforts of gifted musicians, songwriters, and producers. This project is an example of combining complex melodies, meaningful lyrics, and compelling performances to produce an enjoyable and interesting listening experience.
The build up of Nicely Done started in 2022 at Maf. Town where i met Da'Boy Tre living in the same building. I got hold to Tre because i saw how he loves and how dedicated he is in making his music. Nicely Done was made out of the energy and feeling we had for the process in studio, with the terms of exchanging thoughts and knowledge with the fans, or masses.
"Nicely Done" is an example of the effectiveness of teamwork, imagination, and skill in the art of music creation. Because the lyrics of the song inspires and speak to every Person who is in a working place working for another person to start his/her own things. When I wake up everyday and see the life of every working Regular south African citizen it breaks my heart because they work hard for 30days only to earn R3500 minimum salary, which is only for basic use and cannot sustain their lifes. Off The Office encourages everyone to start their own journey of life how they want it to be without being exploited by Others.

Who or what got you into hip hop?
I started listening to hiphop in 2006 and studied it, then made my 1st song in 2013. Lil Wayne and Kanye West were my biggest influencers.
What is the good and the bad thing about being a Rapper around your hood?
I dont wanna lie, Its hard being a rapper around my hood, especially if you rap internationally, support is very low, people dont relate to English compared to Tsonga Rap. So I had to learn to rap in my language to accomodate everyone.
What is this one song that made a lot of people to know or love Marvcash?
I remember my 1st tsonga rap song called "Bodhlele", that’s when i realised that our people want something they can understand or relate to. Since then I’m versatile… oh thanks to them. But the song that made my name remarkable not only around my hood was "We Real” feat. Cena" in 2018. That song is the reason i became a producer… it almost opened doors for me but then unfortunately the beat disadvantaged me since it was downloaded.
How is the response from your family and friends towards your music journey?
I only have only 2 family members who strongly support my music career; that be my brother Chris and My wife's Sister Norma.
Marvcash… what’s the story behind this stage name?
The name Marvcash comes from Marvin and Cash money… i dropped "in” and “money" and left with Marvcash.
What is this one thing you wish to change about Hip hop in your Hood?
I wish I could change how people in my hood see local Artists, I feel like the respect only comes when you are successful or grown to the point where you get recognised by outsiders 1st before your own people. In 2021 I won the beat battle called "BEAT EM" hosted by of the Top American Producer goes by the name RyiniProd from Los Angeles. I was announced on YouTube as the 3rd place winner!.

Premiered on 19 February, this music video is a homage to the essence of South African hip hop.

Mazola killa Mezzy (Real name Surprise Madonsela) well-known as “2pac Wam'Tsonga” is a Rapper born and raised in Mpumalanga in a very small village called Cork Trust, which falls under the Bushbuckridge Region. Mazola is an employee at Sabie River Bush lodge, he is a clothing designer of Tribal wears and the lead rapper for Bonfire OvG.
Who or what got you into hip hop?
I got into hip hop because of the likes of 2pac Shakur, Notorious Big , Snoop dogg, Dmx and many more rappers who rocked the game in the early 90's. However Pro-kid was the real motivation and inspiration behind it (RIP to him).
What is the good and bad thing about being a rapper around your hood?
The good thing about being a rapper around my hood is how they welcome me as their own (which makes it easy for me to relax on stage and give it my all). They show me love and appreciate my hardwork. They understand the language I rap in and they always pull up at my gigs. The bad thing is when you release a track and people start thinking it is directed to them whilst Its not, which creates bad vibes and ruins relationships because real support starts where you come from; which is your hood.

Mazola was my fathers nickname Mezzy is Mazola inspired by Wezzy F Baby (lil wayne) then killa comes from my killer bars.

The name came from old folks around the hood , coz I resemble 2pac my raps motivate and inspire a lot of people
What happened to Bornfire?
Nothing happened, we are still a family, pushing individually yes- but currently working on an album titled " Bread winners" as Bornfire OvG.
What is the one thing I wish to change about Tsonga Rap?
There's none to change. Too bad tsonga rap is underrated but i'd love to see a lot of tsonga rappers being more versatile and take this rap international.
