Born in Sebokeng, raised in Soetvelde Farms and moved to Sasolburg at age of seven. Thabang “FreshSta” Sereba released his much anticipated Musical Sound Project "Solomon Frash: my Alter Ego" on Friday the 6th of December 2019, the project is themed around him being an adult, facing life’s challenges and taking responsibility.
FreshSta started rapping back in high school, where he was heavily influenced by the likes of the late Mandoza and Zola to name a few.
“Growing up I listened to their music, which taught me how to actually put words to an instrument”. FreshSta recorded his first single in 2007, released his first project in 2011 titled “Leading Vuitton Don” and released another project in 2012 titled “All Things Fresh” which got him acclaimed as The "Fresh Star" he is today.
In 2013 he signed a management deal with I-Scoop Sounds as their first personality to manage. Under the management of I-Scoop Sounds, he released a six track EP titled “Stay Fresh or Die Trying” in 2014, the EP featured one of his biggest single "Afrika’s Way" that was featured on SABC’s educational show called Bona Re Etsang.
Solomon Frash: My Alter Ego is about FreshSta taking up a more responsible role in his life and his immediate family’s lives, Solomon is FreshSta’s late brother who met his untimely death in 2006, who was supposed to be the sole breadwinner and carer of the family after their mother retired. As it may, FreshSta had to step in and assume those roles.
In the intro song of the project FreshSta expresses his confidence and trust in God, saying he's coming for everything in the music industry and he is ready to take over.
FreshSta also flexes his lyrical muscle in songs like; Stars Aligned, CleanStuff, C.R.E.A.M. and Plan Of Action.
He also takes it down a notch on songs like; GANG/Kool n The Gang, Kwa Nduna and Makunyiwe where he is just having fun with the music while he relays the stories of his everyday life.
“I’d say music is more of a calling than anything else for me, it’s a journey filled with hardship and struggles. Music has taught me how to be a better person and a better business man, even though it is still difficult to break into the industry, I strive more because I cannot see myself doing anything either than music.” Says FreshSta.

Have you ever wondered what you would do if a fine lady could just come to you and be like “I’m all Yours”?
Yeah that’s right… All that you are thinking about is what the track is all about.
This single was released on the 3rd of August 2019 and is available on various media platforms such as YouTube, Audiomack, Slikouronlife… etc
Jay and Dollar both play important roles on the track as they both had inputs to make it a success.
#AllIwanna is all about expressing your thoughts on how you play your game when it comes to fine ladies…
There’s a part where Jay says “…#AllIWannaDo, is take you to my world and you spin it all around…” that is actually interpreted as The Lady will own his throne if she could be in his life…
A part where Dollar says “…King Swati, angi sheli ngiya khomba…” that actually means that he’s so good in this game that he nolonger proposes but just points whenever he wants a lady.
This is a great peace of artwork with amazing creativity in it, the art of playing around with words is crazy, like where Dollar Cream says “One night stand, like I’ve got a tender…” and where Jay Says “I will make love to You and break all the tules…”
This is a fusion of Hip hop and R&B tune, there’s no strong language used but can be explicit if you think deep.
Very useful to play it when making Love and or Just Jamming…

What got me into hip hop is the rhythm it has. I got excited when I heard any hip hop back in the days,
I started miming on tracks I choose as my favourite. What was important for me was the philosophy the genre had in me and I kept it on lock until now.
Sango has a very wide versatile personality. He is a media studies student at Boston Media House. Sango is an aspiring producer/sound engineer currently involved in film making.
"The best thing that has happened in Mzanzi hip hop is that Casper Nyovest has done a lot for the culture in general.
He has showed that something might seem impossible to do when you talk about it, but when you get to do it and experience the efforts; you end up inspiring a lot of people.
Another thing is that our fellow artists get to collaborate with international acts and open the market widely." Said Sango

The best advice I could give to others is to invest in the craft. Take your work seriously and focus on your lane, people will always talk and only take criticism that is constructive and motivating and let the rest take its course.

What is the Story Behind Your Stage Name?
What inspired my name is my community in my hometown, Oudtshoorn, while I was using a different name “Elrido da Vaughn” a grootman by the name Ta Kola in my home town gave me advice and told me to change my stage name to Sango cause they know Sango, also I should be proud of the name cause it means a lot and they will be able to recognize it and support me fully.

What is the Motive behind Your Music?
The motive behind my music is my authenticity and who I am. I write about what is happening in my daily life. Cheezy Mabena is also making sure that I only do that when we in studio.

Where do you see Sango in the Near future?
We see ourselves up there succeeding and have a greater bond with God, my manager and public relations agent Rachel Sebotja is always coming up with strategies and what is going to be good for the brand.
We are soon starting to host our own shows and doing tours, taking the music to the people and build relationships, make memories that will last forever going to the top.

The things that disturb the market is the issue of piracy and as an upcoming artist we intend to get people to stream at least if they hesitate to buy the actual song/album or Ep.
Another thing is that promoters want us to perform for free in the name of exposure. What improves the market, I think it would be unity amongst each other and be there for each other.

Wise Words
I would say how well you understand your craft and how you are about it, a person that respects the skill and the team that is around him.

Shout Outs
I would like to send a shout out to the team of Sango Xhosa, Rachel, Cheezy, Hlokomelo, Oakley 808, Nomagugu, Marvin M, my family and my supporters

Hanoch Just dropped a song titled KING OF THE AIR. The song was inspired by his birth place called Mpumalanga, meaning Where The Sun Rises. The slogan is pioneering spirit. So He then put it together with his favorite Bird that represents him, an eagle. It’s a bird that is strange compared to other birds, it allows the storm to make it soar high and it has a very sharp vision. That’s what just motivates him in his music career. Being different and keeping his eyes on bringing a positive and powerful impact.
“I don’t see myself as a king of the jungle, but of the air. I can see from above, this is how clear one’s vision can be like when you see a map. I can decide to see in a vertical or horizontal angel. This is how life suppose to be viewed. We need to consider how we are impacting lives , not just about our pockets but the massage in the music as well.”
He featured Shane Li Boy Who was nominated and won Mpumalanga Christian Gospel Awards And Crown Gospel Awards In 2018. Also, nominated as African Hip Hop Gospel Awards In the same year. The song was produced by Dolla Bill and finalized by Fya Philly.
It’s his first single from his upcoming album which is dropping 2020. You can check it on all digital platforms by hitting the Link to stream and download: hyperurl.co/bdx148

Multi-platinum selling musician TiMO ODV, who burst onto the scene in 2015 with his smash hit Save Me – a track which solidified him as one of the most exciting artists on the South African dance scene – returns with a fresh new single.

Stream/Listen to “All I Want” Here: https://TiMOODV.lnk.to/AllIWant

ALL I WANT is a tech house club track and one hundred percent a TiMO ODV creation – a feature which has set the self-taught DJ, producer, singer, and songwriter apart from the outset. “I’m different from other artists because I do everything myself,” he explains. “Most artists will look for a singer for their beat, or singers a producer for their voice. I am the producer, singer, composer and mixing engineer all on one song.”

Other than saying that it “came together really nicely”, he is not giving much else away about ALL I WANT. However, fans can undoubtedly look forward to the unique, edgy and underground sound which not only established him as a titan of the dance scene, but which also earned him commercial acclaim.

ALL I WANT follow in the exciting footsteps of previous releases, including Dancing Again, Move, Make You Love Me, and more, which have all had millions of hits on YouTube.

The gifted young artist – who simply decided one day that he wanted to be a music producer and then proceeded to make it happen – initially taught himself production before turning his attention to music theory, instruments and singing. In four short years (he signed with Universal Music in 2015) he has earned millions of streams and track downloads and secured his place on the play lists of clubs and local dance music enthusiasts.

This success, he says, can be attributed to the fact that South Africans love bass and dance music. “We are also slowly finding our own voice and our own sound, which makes the dance scene an interesting place to play in.”

While he has achieved tremendous chart success and raked in the accolades, the highlight of working in the industry “has to be some of the amazing places I’ve been able to DJ at and travel to because of music,” he says.

Considering TiMO ODV’s track record, ALL I WANT is guaranteed to bring the house down. In addition, his endlessly growing fan base can look forward to more from the artist next year. “I am currently working on more new music and hoping to produce an album I’m proud of in 2020.”
