Upcoming Ambient Trap Artist located in Katlehong , Trae Rixx is originally known as Masande Mfino, Hes a Musician / Music producer born in the Eastern Cape, he Started his Lower School grades at Lukholweni (Soweto) finished off In Mpilisweni Sec School (Katlehong).
"The year of 2013 that's when I saw myself as someone who's gonna end up doing music after recording a farewell song for Matriculants.
I went to Study at the College due to not affording Varsity fees , I pursued a career in Reservation & ticketing on which I couldn't graduate for failing one module.
I had to drop out without a supplement.
A year after, I decided to get my focus back on what I love, Music popped up

Who or What got you into hip hop?
I Remember doing matric in 2013, Me and my classmates decided to save up some cash to record our farewell song as remembrance, then we did it for ourselves and our class only... but it ended up going viral and liked by all the matriculants.
So that's when I decided that after my studies I'll pursue a music career.
What's your Say about Education vs Music as a Rapper?
Well, nowadays Education no longer comes forward because of the New generation implementation's. Music is nolonger just an entertainment but a career and a business for the record label's and lately it seems like they make more money than you can think of.
So Education & Music are both a way of hustle.
If you could be successful in the Rap Career, would you go back and suplement that one module?
If my music Career can be Successful , Yes I would go back to supplement my module because my dream was not just step on stage, but to create a music company to help the un-heard voices from where I come from.
Few years from now, where will Trae Rixx be?
Few Years from now , Trae Rixx will be the CEO of Crystal Art Records and it will be the company that focuses more on youth Insecurities, Saving Royalty sales for Bursary schemes. Trae Rixx will be spreading positive impact around the township to inspire other kids that dreams do really come true!
What is the Good and the Bad about Hip hop in your hood according to your experiences?
Well for now I can't say there's good impacts that the Hip Hop is doing in my hood because these kids see it as entertainment, and try to copy the American lifestyle
They end up doing drugs, quitting School to do Rap.
Well I just hope Trae Rixx will one day be heard, because my music inspires an individual to be real on every situation (don't do it, because your friends are doing it)
How would you imagine Life without Hip hop?
Life without Hip Hop... Well on my side "There will be no Life" because that's the kind of music that replaced how the message is portrayed like Poetry.
Its more than just kicks there's inspiration in it.
How is the response from your Family and Friends towards your Music?
The Response was great, my mother actually boughts the recording interface to composing and record my own song...
But this year the support started getting mad, the Single "The Cook Up " went for 100 downloads in just 2 days, so yeah the family and friends really got my back on this one.
If you were not in to Hip hop, What would you be doing?
If not Rap... I'll be sitting at an Airport office, making reservations because that's the dream I had while I was still studying.
Whom do you wish to collaborate with in the music industry and Why?
I would like to collaborate with Kwesta, not that he makes the same sound as I do but he comes from my hood, so he will understand when I say let's make a song just to give back to the community.

Given Samson Kama, Famously Know As Bizzy Gee is a young rapper from South Africa in Pretoria, he was born on the 18th of December 2000 and he grew up in Soshanguve ext 9B. Bizzy Gee is a natural Born rapper who is hungry for success in The South African Music industry and beyond, he grew up listening to the legends like Lil Wayne, Ace hood, Cassper Nyovest, J.Cole, Nas, Nick Minaj, Eminem and 2pac. Thats when he gets most of his inspiration from and he also was inspired by his late uncle Bizzy K, Bizzy Gee started rapping at the age of 10... it was a heart beat so he didn't want people to know that he Raps. Bizzy Gee felt that this musical Journey has been a calling, after all is his first love. After My Late Uncle Bizzy K passed away, there was nobody in the Family who was willing to make his dreams to come true, So I had to take the Bizzy from his stage name and put G with double ee's, that's how I got the name and I'm always Busy

I Got The inspiration from Cassper Nyovest and Nas. I see most young and talented rappers don't have money to buy Beats, so like I'm willing to help where I can help
How is the response from your family and friends towards your music?
My Family love what I I'm doing, they are proud of me and so as my friends, they love what I am doing... some don't love what I am doing but will never tell you, but I see that

I don't think there is a good thing about Hip hop in my hood... The bad thing is... I think they hate Hip hop in my hood because they know that I'm a rapper but they don't have support.
What is the difference between the responses from your fans to your first single and your latest single
My First Single's response was hurtful... people were talking sh*t, So I had to make sure that I love and stick to what I'm doing. My latest single's responses were like "You dropped a Hit... I'm impressed by your work"... I now feel the love so that's why I'm Willing to drop an Ep

Commonly known by his stage name “Da Saint”, Aleck Sibusiso Mhlongo is a versatile hip hop artist, born and raised in Mpumalanga’s capital city; Mbombela, KaNyamazane.
He was drawn into the music industry in 2011 when he was introduced to hip hop by a classmate through Lil Wayne’s “Drop Tha World” which featured Eminem. He was
fascinated by the way someone could construct such a well-crafted sentence and put it into an instrumental to form a song; his fascination led him to start writing his own rhymes.
Of course this was not rocket science for the 20 year old since he was then one of the poets and public speakers in his primary school days. He continued mastering his craft, his writing and delivering skills throughout his high school years until 2015 when he was in grade 11, he
then started working with a local producer known as 97Beatz, together they mastered their sound and later on during the year he released his debut single titled “Dance”.
Da Saint... What's the story behind this stage name?
Leolin Daniel Jeggels (born June 22, 1995), professionally known as Oakley 808, is a South African record producer and beatmaker.
Raised in Jeffreys Bay (Eastern Cape), Oakley 808 began making beats at the age of 16 with the help of his older cousin using the music production software FL Studio.
Aside from school, Oakley 808 didn't really have other hobbies like playing sports, so he dedicated a large amount of his free time to creating music. Oakley 808 was inspired by famous producers like Kanye West, Metro Boomin, Swizz Beatz, 808 Mafia and alot more, and initially tried to copy their sound while learning to make beats.
Eventually his production transformed into his own style.
Earlier this year, Oakley 808 produced Tedical's second single "Twisted Brains II" Featuring Jay Hood From his second mixtape "Black Butterfly".
The song was released in April 2019, and got aired on various radio stations like Metro FM & VOW FM.
According to Oakley, the beat for the song was originally Shane Eagle's, but Tedical heard it first.
Oakley's distinct signature trap sound is gritty, grimy, and thunderous hip hop street sound which is similar to that of his collaborator/co-producer, Lot Beats (Koketso Mathibe).
Oakley 808 uses FL Studio, along with the Samson Graphite M25 Midi Controller + Drumpad. He often samples his own melodies & slice it up in the FL Studio stock plugin fruity slicer.
On January 2019, SA Hip Hop Reviews mentioned him as " One of the hottest upcoming producers in South Africa ."
AfricanHipHopNews wrote that Oakley 808 is " easily one of the most versatile & outstanding music producers in South Africa. "

It will definitely improve music producers... With technology changing everyday. It's alot more easier to learn music production online, because 100 % of everything you need to know is on the Internet. Information is right at your fingertips.
What is the best and the worst thing in the producing field according to your experiences?
The best thing is, you learn something new everyday (if you are really really dedicated like me).
The worst thing is, Alot of Artists don't really give credit to the producers.
Beat Maker and a Producer, is there a difference between the two or is one and the same thing?
One & the same thing.
Oakley 808... what's the story behind this stage name?
My nickname since Primary School was Oakley (reason for that, I don't remember)
Where 808 comes from, is I use alot of 808 Basses in my beats, & It's one of the most loudest & freshest sounds you'll hear in my beats.
How would you imagine Life without Music at all?
I can't imagine life without music...
Who is the Artist that you've once worked with whom you can say was the best experience ever?
Definitely Tedical... Reason why : He is such a special breed of an artist & I achieved one of my 2019 Goals with him. His second single "Twisted Brains II" Featuring Jay Hood Produced By Me played on Metro FM & VOW FM. Video is dropping soon btw.
Who do you wish to work with in future and why?
Nasty C... Reason Why : He is one of those artists that's unbelievably great. Everything Nasty drops is a Classic, & his one of Africa's Greatest Muscicans.
From Price City To Strings & Blings, he outdid himself. Zulu Man With Some Power will obviously be a Project that will be talked about for a very very long time. Nasty C is The G.O.A.T & to be on production credits on one of his projects will be a huge Honour.

The track is titled No Hesitation and its about chasing your passions relentlessly no matter the odds, especially the influence of outside forces, which I refer to as the neighbors and the Feds because friends and "enemies" impact you in such a powerful way, there's people that don't want you to succeed or they just don't understand how you do the things you do, so they pray in a person's private affairs with their hate and their love, so its motivational in a sense that I'm telling my story, which is a real life about some things I've gone through, still going through, the way I'm living my life with the people around me" Said Fya Philly
The FyaStunna Lyfestyle project was really a collaboration between two people, The beat composition was done by one of Fya Philly's beat makers named 3Dee Stunna, from a newly launched production house called Space Ship Records, its a foundation of Zone 6 type of Trap elements with a fusion of etheric African sounds plus Gregorian type keys and melody inclines, so it really has a spine chilling effect that allows a Vivid story to get told.
The music video was directed by Henry Charly from WeHeart Studios, he is the same guy that directed Fya Philly's previous SA Hip Hop banger on Channel O titled 'No Love Song', interestingly enough, WeHeart Studios is the one that's responsible for all Fya Philly's premium in house motion pictures, they shoot for the biggest guys in the game plus a whole lot of major cooperate stuff. "I'm just Blessed to have formed a relationship with them.
The vision for the director was to have me potray the role of a barman at one of the dopest clubs in Bloemfontein called The Other Venue or T.O.V for the Bloemers lol, so the story of the barman is that he gets wooed by a very classy lady, played by lifestyle coach and model @LeuLion, who actually falls for the barman, she was of course drinking 'Durban Poison', which is everyone's drink of choice in the No Hesitation world and in real life too, so after the bar scenes we realize that the girl orders her driver to flag Fya Philly down because she wanted to give him her number so they can 'hang out'... we end up reaching a point where we see Fya back at the Classy lady's place were we shot the infamous smoking shower scenes and Jaccuzi scenes, so that's were the other sauce of the shoot really was because it had to feel really close and intimate to emphasize "watching attention" and the spine chilling effect of the beat. The smoke all around the music video symbolises my artist name and the Durban Poison affiliation also".
The music video correspond with the song as people expected clichè music videos, where the artist spoon feeds the audience, walks them through his lyrics literally-showing them what he is talking about, like that is kinda dry.
The way that the production team does it is in a sense that's analogical, its deeper than the surface and deeper than rap, its really how we live. The classy lady who goes to have her after work drink is a hard worker, she gets things done and she goes for what she wants and gets it, She got her own driver for heats sake. That's inspirational on its own sense. As for the barman, he just got bagged by this flashy classy lady that just takes him to her place and shows him a great time, that's like a dream achieved by alot of guys you know?
Getting macked on by a rich chick that's trying to get with you, while you an ordinary barman? It rarely happens, so one would never let that opportunity slide, so as you can see it corresponds with the initial message of the song but on a very different type of level.
