Not at all, I just thought of it as just another sweet dream, at this age it is almost impossible to reach your goals as a village girl.

I mostly do my music during school holidays & my P.R takes care of the rest at Gami Music Production.

Dj Gami & Kate Lukz gave me the name, they said it symbolizes "A young village girl with big dreams"

I'm over the moon, guess what, Dj Gami challenged me to script it in less than 30 mins in his studio, I did not know i was capable....but I did it & this is what transpired.

Rhymi is an upcoming producer, singer, rapper from a small town called Kathu in the Northern Cape province. He is surely one of those who will make it to the top in the music industry with his sound influenced by producers like T-Minus, artists like Drake, Tory Lanez, Tellaman, just to name a few.
Though Rhymi is influenced by the names mentioned above, he still comes through very unique with his powerful performing skills, his way of flowing with his vocals and his cultured content with rock-hard punchlines. Rhymi also possesses a love for Afro-Pop music.
Coming from a town where they pay very less attention to local artists Rhymi has managed to host his own gig which was a success in 2018 and is in plans to host the second one this year. Like any other local artist, Rhymi uses social media like Instagram, Twitter and Facebook to promote his music. Not long from now we will see Rhymi on TV screens and on everyone’s playlist with his flourished songs.

What got You into Hip Hop?
I believe I am destined for it. Well, it all started when I was 11, after listening to some Lil Wayne music. He is the biggest influence to my music. I remember always sounding like him but all that changed now. I had to find my own sound which I did.
If You were not into hip hop, what would you be?
To be honest, I really don't know. I don't think of being elsewhere. I am too focused too be thinking of being anywhere else. I love Hip Hop too much.
What is the good and the worst about Hip hop according to Your Experiences?
Worst: To me it's just how some people have negative things to say about Hip Hop. Some people believe if you make Hip Hop you are mixed up in some dirty things. Well I won't blame them for thinking or believing that. Matter of fact we as human always have different things to say about certain things which is a normal thing.
Good: The music side of it. The way Hip Hop dominates all other genres and me being part of such a genre just feels awesome. Music is a way of expressing yourself but the genre Hip Hop is just the best aspect of doing that.
What is the Motive behind your upcoming EP "Meanwhile in Bloem?
At the end of February this year (2019) I moved to Bloemfontein to do some other courses. I had to quit my job back home (Kathu) so I just felt like I have enough time to make music comparing to the times I was still working I hardly had time because I get home feeling very tired that I couldn't make any music and if I did work on a song after work it never sounded how I want it to sound and I'd be lazy to fix it, so I leave it as it is.
This was supposed to be a duo EP of me and a friend known as Grobz-king. I suggested we name the EP "3pm in Bloemfontein" and then he suggested "Meanwhile in Bloem". I happened to love that name and so we named it "Meanwhile in Bloem" and we recorded the first song titled " David Genaro" which we released as a single in March. After that Grobz-king's schedules wasn't meeting up so I decided to continue making the EP myself. So yeah that's the motive behind the EP title.
From the surroundings where hiphop has less attention, how did you make the event a success?
Prayers, prayers and more prayers.
It was really not easy for me. There were times I wanted to cancel the event but I wake up the next morning and just put more effort and look for sponsors.
It is amazing when there are people around you who want to see you succeed in something that you are doing even though they are not big followers of something that you doing. In my hometown people pay less attention to hip hop but they came through to support the boy and that was unexpected for me. It's all about love. I only managed to bag one sponsor out of seven sponsors I approached. Thanks to Siyathemba HNA for the sponsorship I wasn't gonna be such a success if it wasn't for them. I give my blessings to them and believe they will grow to a bigger company.
Who is That One Rapper Whom you really want to have an experience working with?
This is a tough one... Drake is the guy. There are many more buh for now I'd go for Drake. The guy is just amazing.
Rhymi... What's the story behind the stage name?
It was back in school once in English class we were busy writing essays and so... A classmate asked me why do I always have to rhyme in everything that I write down like essays and poems,etc. My answer to her was "because I'm Rhymi". I really didn't think when I answered her, it just came out from the top and that sounded so cool and then I said "oh yes, I am Rhymi" and then I introduced myself as Rhymi to everyone and that was that.
What are the best tips you can give to other upcoming rappers on how to find your own unique style in doing music?
Get inspired and do what you want to do. You don't need anyone's validation. Use anything you can use to sound different. Make it sound hard, very hard. Pray hard too.
How is the response from Family and Friends that you are a Rap Star?
Too be honest I don't get that much support and response that I expect from them. But there are some of them that do show support here and there. But I will surprise them and make them proud anyway.
Few years from now, where will Rhymi be?
I see myself changing the way my hometown see hip hop. I see myself topping the charts, and every other artist begging for features. I see people believing in someone they never thought anything of. I see myself putting the northern Cape Hip Hop up there in the game. I also see all the game jumping on my beats.

Tinashe Dupwa (born February 25, 1999), better known by his stage name "Twice Given". This is a rapper, singer, songwriter and producer. TwiceGiven was born in Zimbabwe then from his childhood to his teenage years spent his time back and forth from Zimbabwe to South Africa. He was raised by a single mother after his father died in 2008.
At the age of 8, he started doing music after being influenced by mainly his uncle and also listening to a lot of hip hop music. During the year 2010, he released his debut track which he recorded in Brakpan (SA). Having to travel back to Zimbabwe in 2012, also got him an opportunity to release his debut album “We Revolting” which was done jointly with his brothers. Within that period of time, he got a chance to perform at one of the biggest hip hop shows like Changamire Hip hop festival and also got a couple of interviews at one of the biggest TV shows like YGT (Young Gifted and Talented) shown on ZBC TV which eventually boosted his fan base.
Moving back to south Africa, he now had enough motivation to burst through as he now had a little bit more of musical experience. Got a chance to connect with some SA musicians as he was now so focused on pushing his own music. His debut single entitled “Worst” that was released in 2017 which also got him a chance to perform at a couple of shows around the east rand.
His stage name “Twice Given” was given to him by his older brother (Kev Sage) after discovering that his younger brother had more than just a talent but called it a blessing too. TwiceGiven is now signed under G63 Music, a record label in Johannesburg, which he released his new single entitled “Do It Again”.

Locally I would want to be Ricky Rick because he's one artist who knows how to keep himself in the game.
If You were not into hip hop, what would you be?
I would definitely be an EDM artist because I consider it the best music on planet right now in terms of creativity and hard work.
What is the good and the worst about Hip hop according to Your Experiences?
The good thing about Hip Hop for me is that, it's the best way to Express your feelings and positively encourage other people without them having to be irritated by the sound. But the bad thing about it is hip hop is misunderstood that a lot of people think that it's the easiest genre, well it's not! That's why we get people not lasting long in the industry. I think that's also how talent does not "seem" to matter anymore but your connection.
What is the Motive behind your Latest single "Do it Again"?
I recorded the track wanting to give people a different sound from what they know me from.
Between Zimbabwe and South Africa, where do you market your music most and why?
I definitely want to market my music in South Africa first though, there's a lot of competition and it is where all there money seem to be then it will market itself in Zim.
Few years from now, where will Twice Given be?
Few years from now I see myself as a living icon, a business man musically and mostly an uplifter to all talented musicians trying to come up.

My real name is Punguin sibisi I was born in 1998 on the 14th of February at Tembisa hospital, I am a self taught visual artist, I use pencil, pen and coloured pencils to draw. I also do painting. I started doing art at the age of 12 back in primary school and started taking it serious in 2017

From a young age I used to love drawing, so when I did my grade 11, I came across an art Facebook page of a guy called Ali, from there I sketched a drawing of Adele and never stopped drawing ever since .

The feeling was very great and motivating it made me to never drop the ball

Lack of materials, space to work on, exhibition slots and getting clients who actually knows the amount of time n energy invested in each drawing for them to pay without discounts demands.
What message do you convey in your drawing graffiti or tattoos that you want people to take?
The massage I convey is that people must be true and not be afraid to express their true feelings.
For anyone at home who has a gift like yours how would you encourage them to follow their dreams?
I would encourage them to never ignore their dreams and to be fully committed to their gift n grow it ..
If there is one thing that you have learned about being an artist what would you say it is?
I’ve learned to be patient, each drawing needs time.

I believe I'm a multi talented individual. The reason I say this is because I like challenging myself ,I like being versatile and I'm a go getter that works so hard to achieve whatever.
How did you realize that you have a calling for Dancing?
I Honestly used to dance for fun, not that I don't dance for fun now but what I mean is, I never knew that I can actually take this dancing career to the top and build myself as a brand. I used to dance at school everytime there would be events and stuff, so this one time I danced and almost everyone was like "Aiiva you got to take this serious you need to build a name for yourself, you can really dance", my teachers also believed in me and that's were I realised how much I make people happy when I dance and decided to take a step.
How has the dancing journey been from while you were 4 years old to today?
It has been wonderful hey because I got a chance to just enjoy dancing without any negative energy around and just showcase what I can do while having fun.
How is the response from Family and Friends towards your Dancing Journey?
My family and friends have been showing me love and support, even though my family didn't understand at first but they ended up understanding and showed endless love. What I know is; not everyone is happy for me but I only focus on the positive side and keep doing what I do best and what makes me happy.
What is the good and the worst about Dancing according to Your Experiences?
The good is that you get to dance with different individuals who got different personalities, You get to learn so much about dancing and different styles of dancing. You get to work with big artists, people you look up too.
The worst is that you get those dancers /people who have been in the industry for a while and they are so Rude and think they know everything, but I always tell myself that I'm the best and no one is going to tell me otherwise.
There are so many Dancers in the world, not everyone gets a chance to dance for professional artists, how did you achieve that?
On this one I'd saying knowing the right people and having people that believe in you by your side. I was lucky enough to meet right people who helped me be who I am today and I'm very much grateful.
What are the mistakes do you think other Dancers do that makes their talent not to reach anywhere?
Thinking they know everything, Not helping other people with pure heart, Being jealous and not wanting other people to succeed, always wanting things to come to them and that's not right learn to give others a chance and celebrate with them.

Dancing is my way of working out .

Honestly I wouldn't say I have ways of staying healthy as a dancer because I eat whatever whenever and I do whatever whenever but I wouldn't advice someone else to do that because we not the same you know what I mean.

I'm Kagiso "Spil-boy" Mabusela, 25years of age born and raised in a small village in Limpopo (Mokopane) Rooival village. I am a self-taught visual artist. I've discovered my talent back in 2004 when I was doing grade 4 after I was given a task to sketch a South African Map on the chalk board. I continued drawing cartoons up until 2010 when I started learning how to portray realistic human portraits. Took a break from art in 2011 until 2013 when I completed my matric. After matric I started learning more about art on YouTube, then met guys like Sam "Redemption" Shaba and Themba Mkhangeli" on Facebook. Their work inspired me to do better as they were way brilliant compared to mine. Since then my art started improving . Each time I make a new portrait the standard and quality improves. I'm now at a point were I am at least 80% satisfied with my work. There is a level of satisfaction which I want to reach by end of this year. I'm doing art on my spare time since I'm currently studying.
I started doing music(hip hop) in 2009. I recorded my first song in Soweto (Tladi) at LT production where I was with Kevin bluez. In 2013 I met Fortunate "Mpk" maluleka from mokopane (Ext19) who was a music artist and a producer, we then started working together. I worked with local artists such as Nkosi DC , J-cute ,Eazy motion and lil tears ,they are all from Limpopo. In 2014 I moved to Pretoria Ga-rankuwa , where I met Reneilwe Tobi aka A'Dude called Reneilwe , Tokelo and André. We were all musicians and we formed a group called SumthingNyc ,we did almost every genre but our main focus was hip hop and acapella. 2016 November 18 I released my first EP , A'Dude called Reneilwe was the only 1 featured on the EP, the EP was produced by Tooly B, with the beats (instrumentals) produced by my Cousin Hector Mogolane (Rawsque Music) and some produced by me. At the later stage SumthingNyc signed a new member Nkosikhona 'Tallbunz' Nkosi. I have been under management of Tshwane artist promotion by Dominic . 2017 until now I'm under the management of Bashitwa Film production. Performed with the likes of Lady Zamar, DJ mpako , DJ shimza, DJ Nesty nev etc.
What inspires you the most when you get to draw Random Portraits or any Drawing?
I'm inspired mostly by the quality of each portrait I make improving, the competition against my previous artworks. I'm always battling against the quality of the a portrait I made before .
What celebrity have you sketched and how was the response from that celebrity?
I have sketched Black Coffee , Kgothatso Iman Dithebe (a model) and Kgopotso Mmutlane (DJ Coach) founder of forex broker killer. Theyvwere amazed by my talent. Their response after seeing their portraits were very motivational and made me want to do more of the amazing work.
You Draw Such Amazing Realise Sketches... How is the response from the clients you do the Sketches of?
Everytime I deliver a portrait to a client, I receive almost the same response " WOW, I don't even know what to say. Is this really a sketch?" . I leave them amazed at all times.
What are your future plans in the Drawing industry?
I want my work to be showcased at the top Galleries in South Africa like Goodman gallery, Stevenson gallery etc. I also want to have my own Art Studio/art gallery.
What is the good and the worst thing about Drawing?
The good thing about drawing is that it keeps me out of the street and I also use it as a way of mind refreshing. The worst thing about drawing is when I did not reach/produce the quality I was aiming for on a certain portrait.

Spil boy is also a fitness model, bodybuilder and a Musician
How do you balance Drawing, Music, Body Building and Academics?
There are some days during the week where I do not have classes, then I use that time for Gym, Sketching or music. The best way to manage both is time management, I split them up accordingly. When I have tests to prepare for, I put music, gym and drawing on hold.
How is the response from Family and Friends towards your Drawings
They truly love what I'm doing, their support is out of this world.
Which One Drawing would You say it is Your Best Drawing and Why?
The colour ballpoint pen sketch of a Roaster. It came out way better than I expected, and it was my first colour pen sketch.

He is a hardworking musician, born and bred in Zimbabwe. He has won over 8 awards in Zim for his music and has performed abroad in the UK and Germany. He currently has an album out called Nhliziyo, also available on iTunes. His story and his struggles as a Zim artist should inspire other musicians out there who are trying to make it. There is no difference really, Hip Hop is Hip Hop maybe the sad part with our scene is that its not paying as much compared to lets say The SA scene
You've had a Collaboration with Cassper Nyovest, Was that the beginning of Your Breakthrough or It was Only getting Better and Better?
It was the beginning as that collaboration changed a lot for me, even now I'm still grateful of the opportunity of working with him although I wish I was in better financial position to work on the video, who knows how far I would be if we had it dropped on MTV?!

I wanna work with Professor, Sjava, K.O & Amanda Black for now, I'm making efforts already to reach out to them

Dolly is the 3rd born child of 3 children, she was born and raised in Lamontville Durban . She comes from a well known musical family in the township as they call themselves 'TheMdletshe' brothers and sisters, she was therefore born with the Talent. Dolly sang her first Solo in grade 4. Before that, her school teachers had already spotted her talent in singing and acting even though she was abit shy back then.
MUSIC
Her love for entertainment grew during her years in high school as she was in the choir and entered school singing competitions. Dolly wrote her first song in 2013 as she was working with a sound engineer at the Durban Music House. Throughout her years working in retail she then decided to focus on what she is really good at and pursue her music career as well as acting and presenting.

She has worked with (Sakhile Khoza)Dj Dansanie, Zero3one ,G entertainment , DoneSolid entertainment -Alcupoem(Eugene Mpilo) , Boom Productions-Lombo (Sboniso ) and has performed in various events such as The Durban picnic, Run Durban events, Amabhubesi Rally , as her song with Zero3one called 'Bigger dreams' is making listeners turn heads followed by the latest single "No more' with Dj Soweto and Youngie J.
CAREER
Dolly has hosted her own show on U.K. Online radio station Deeplomatikk radio and is a voice over artist and translator on the Craze@ etv's Coolcatz show. She has also been seen on a few episodes of SABC 1s Mnandi me as well as The 1s and 2s.
Who is That One Artist that you look at and be like... "I want to get there or beat that Level!"?
Beyonce Knowles! I've always looked up to her, not only in the musical side of things but how she respects her business and runs it.
How is the response from Family and Friends towards your Music Journey?
It was much easier in the beginning maybe because they thought it was a hobby and I wouldn't pursue an entire career in music so I guess it has been difficult for them to see the struggle that comes with the hustle.
Friends however have never doubted that I will do this and succeed but I must say with both ends the support is getting better and I can't stress enough how much it means to me.
You are so multi-talented, how do you balance music and the all other activities that you do?
Music comes naturally so it's not so difficult for me to write a song any day with whatever given time, in fact entertainment as a whole I think I was born for, it has never been a struggle getting the work done I love working I wish I could be more busy, as a matter of fact. Not only am I multi talented I sure can multitask.
What is the good and the worst thing about being an artist according to Your Experiences?
The good thing about being an artist is that you get to live and express your passion, that for me is the ultimate happiness and the bad thing is that it's very difficult to get from the ground up, especially if you're a female artist, you come across too many dream sellers and opportunists and you're always putting money out with no money coming in, that's the biggest struggle of the come up, getting yourself out there.
What is the Motive behind your Writings?
The main motive behind my lyrics is Expression, how I express myself is hope that whoever is listening could have the courage to express themselves freely, to feel motivated, inspired and relate to what I am saying. I always hope people understand what I'm trying to say and that's what my latest EP is about, the indifference of Life's experiences.
What are the mistakes do you think upcoming artists do that makes their music not to go anywhere?
Upcoming artists like recording songs without a purpose, when you record without a purpose that song will most probably go into a kept file and before you know it you have an archive filled with unreleased music because you don't have the funds to get out, I don't see the need of recording a hundred songs not knowing what for and how I'm planning on releasing them. Most often don't understand the business side of the music industry, you need to get info on the business and treat your artistry like any other corporate business out there.
Some Upcoming artists just lack information and sometimes mainly it's the funds and connects you need either or one of these to succeed.
What are the amazing places did your Music take You and which one amongst all was your favorite?
I remember once saying I have never been out of Durban before but ever since I felt ready to embark on this journey, not only with music but entertainment makes you visit amazing places and people, you are able to stand on big stages and share them with big artists. However nothing can be as amazing until I fly off international. So with that said I haven't found the favourite one.
There are so many Ladies or Girls that wish to be like Dolly Charmaine, What are the Wise Words that keep you going as an artist that you can invest to other Ladies?
Faith! You must always have faith in yourself, potential and life in general, I live by a Latin motto that quotes "Quisque sibi verus" meaning To thyn ownself be true and by all means this has carried me through life , know your purpose be as stubborn as a bullfrog about it.
What Motivated you not to think of a stage name and stick to your original names?
I loooooove originality I had initially thought since there's Dolly Parton and Dolly Rathebe in the industry I'll call myself "TheDoll" because friends called me that at some point until I realized what can be more original than my own name I mean they work it's a brand and I'm very conscious when it comes to branding.
What is that one thing about you that you think people will be shocked to know of?
Probably the fact that I'm not gender specific.

Vunene Mabasa, the founder of Passionfruit named as Makeupby_passionfruit on social media platforms is a 23 year old Lady from one the villages in Limpopo called Chavani under Elim, she's Currently located in Pretoria.
She's a self-made makeup artist who was inspired by friends and family to start makeup artistry as a business. She's always been curious about arts and crafts from childhood and used to play with her mom's makeup when she was in primary and high school back in those days.
Passionfruit was established on the 25 September 2017. Within this period, Passionfruit has managed to work with almost all possible beauty events as a service provider, such as; Weddings, 21st Birthday Parties, Lobolas, Photoshoots, Graduations, Male Makeup, Fashion Shows, Creative Makeup etc.
Ladies also get lessons offered by Passionfruit, from basics to a full face-beat. Vunene believes that although she studied Computer Systems Engineering as a career it won't stop her from building Passionfruit to be a successful business because it's what she's passionate about and she wants it to be fruitful!
How is the response from Family and Friends now that Passionfruit Makeup is up and running after they motivated you to start it from seeing your potential?
My family as a whole and friends have been giving a lot of support and love to a point where most of them started to say I chose a wrong career because technology and makeup don’t collide hahaha ?. The love is amazing, to see my parents being that proud of me, is very uplifting and I actually motivated most of the ladies around to learn and do makeup properly. All this gives me so much motivation to keep pushing and strive to do better and become something great.
What are the challenges and the good moments have you encountered when running Passionfruit Makeup?
Challenges encountered are mostly concerned with my clients cancelling hours before event and bad time management, but all in all it's because this job requires us as makeup artists to work with people while they're not perfect. There are lots of good moments but the best moments are when my clients look at the mirror for the first time after I did their makeup, that moment right there makes up for all that time taken to do all that detailed work just to receive the same amount of energy expected. It feeds my soul in a way; it's that deep to me.
How do you balance your profession and Passionfruit Makeup?
Actually for me I focus on my profession, the only time I do makeup is when I need to refresh or think or see something creative to do and besides, most clients need me before working hours and weekends.
Where do you see Passionfruit Makeup in the near future?
I have so much planned; I wanna raise a crew that'll help me with out calls. I mostly wanna see Passionfruit being a bigger business working with other beauticians apart from makeup artistry.
"Maleupby_Passionfruit"... What is the Motive behind this name?
One evening seated thinking what I could name my business, something unique but with a meaning. Coincidentally it just became an exotic fruit, Ha-ha
It came to me as Passion for makeup and it's fruitfulness
There are so many people who wish to be like you in the Makeup Industry... how would you motivate them or give them wise words?
I'd tell them that the bridge between you and that business being successful is FEAR. The only thing to do is to start and everything else will take care of itself. If you want something, don't let the “what ifs” stop you, passion will push you to make that business a success. Be ready to prove yourself and work hard to impress your clients because it's all about them at the end and when you impress them, they'll help spread the word for you.
As One of The Good Make up Artists in Chavani, Would You say You Run Chavani or there's other Make-up artists that intimidate you?
I don't even look at other makeup artists as competition or threat, but sisters and brothers of the same family. As for Chavani I don't know any other makeup artist I think am the only one.

Matimba Jake Makhubele well known as "Babe Jake" is the multi-talented man of all tunes and genres, I was born and breaded in Chavani Village just outside Elim. I was blessed with this gift to share with the people and to speak from my heart through music. I was born to make music, I fell in love with Riddim Reggae as it consists of Pop / Rnb and Afro Hip hop. What makes me stand out from other artist is my unique style of combining all types of genres.
I have worked with various artists around my region including the likes of EmC Style, Juicy Ash, G Ice, Manotry, Young Rollet, Rasta Snuku, Dk DJ Tshembo and later last year I featured the well-known DJ Timza on a house song

Who or what got you into Music?
My cousin Musa Neville Makasani. He was the one who intruduced me to music softwares back in those days, he shown me how to record as I used to sing at church, that's where I learnt how to play musical instruments and trained voice transposing

I would be a Radio presenter, I was born with a sweet voice

What is the Motive behind your Writings?
My latest song is entitled "Ti Mbela Mina", this is a dancehall rap african beat that talks about the old Tsonga cultural song, we seem to have forgotten to teach the young generation our cultural songs and dances. Instrumentally I'm edging for those days when we were growing up listening and being taught our culture for future generation

Very positive, they are really supporting, I don't know where I would be if they were not there in my music journey because they make sure that my music is spread out to the world, some of them organise gigs for me

Babe Jake... What is the Story behind this stage name?
Babe Jake was my child hood Nick name back in those days... I was named after the late Legend Baby Jake Matlala. I loved fighting so that's how I got the name, I didn't want to lose that popularity, everyone knows me by that name and only few call me by my real name
What does it mean to you as an Artist that you were nominated at the GCR Music Awards?
I'm very much grateful and feel honored that they recognized me as the best to deserve an award for the music I'm bringing to the nation, the first day I was told the news, I had so much tears of Joy thanking God for the opportunity and Blessings I received
What are your Wise Words that keep you going as an artist?
Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality and let the world enjoy through music, If you strive for the top and miss, you will still beat the pack
