Nataniel “Nate Africa” Guambe (born 06 August 1993), is a rapper, singer, songwriter, dancer and producer, grew up in Johannesburg, in a rural area called Muldersdrift where he was raised by his mother and father.
Nate Africa fell in love with music at an early age having influenced by his older brother who was doing music.
Then started making his own music in 2015 and has gone on releasing songs, his first outbreak to the people was when released his first single entitled My N***s Which he dedicated to his Friends, Family, Fans and everyone who loves or hate his music.

The single reached 13000 Downloads Digitally, his dream was making music that a lot of people will love and relate.
The artist has been featured by several artists, and had his music playing on multiple local radio stations, and was play listed and interviewed in an international radio station in the USA (United States Of America) called Side Hustle Radio and many more other local radio stations
He was featured by the legends of South African Music by the Rap due known as H20 the hit makers of a very big song called It’s Wonderful.
Nate Africa also produced a song that featured legend Kay-E the hit of a song called “Bona Retsang”,

I’m a 19 year old rapper and producer from Waterloo, Canada, I currently live in Ottawa, the countries capital, which is right near Quebec. I have been rapping for 2 years, and have been releasing music throughout these 2 years, some of which has been taken down, but some still remains. From all my released music I have totalled over 25,000 total plays on YouTube, with my more recent tracks consistently reaching a few thousand plays, as well I have done a few collaborations with other artists within North America. Why Hip hop?
I am not only a rapper, but also a huge hip-hop fan; I love the great reliance on drums. As Travis Scott even said, “you need to have the drums done right or else the song won’t sound good”. The drum aspect gives me a great vibe, added with whatever melodies are played over top. On top of that, I have always been a poetry fan, and rap/hip-hop is just evolved poetry. For example Kendrick Lamar has won a poetry award for his music. This all lead me to fall in love with hip-hop, and I chose to make hip-hop so that I could make more of what I love, and to give back to hip-hop in a way. As well, I love to write.
 
What is the motive behind your writings? (Especially your latest track)
My latest track, which has been one of my most successful, being a remix of Lil Pump’s Gucci Gang, was inspired by Joyner Lucas’ remix of Gucci Gang. The lyrics behind the whole track were partially motivated by another rapper who had taken shots at me earlier this year, with the lines “hating on my tracks cause you hate peers”, “first I need to kill some haters”, and further in my song I wrote a few shots back. I took some shots not only at this rapper, but also at people who I’ve either cut out of my life or have left my life who come back into my life because they see the success I am starting to have. I do this with the line “want to hit me up with the “how you been?” gained some clout now so where you been?” Throughout the song there are a few other lines that take shots at a few people, but I don’t forget to leave out my friends, my fans and my family, which inspired the hook, which repeats “Riley gang”, which is the people who support me, and the following line “Love all the love that I get mane”, and I even shout out a big fan of mine. Many of my other tracks are equally inspired by life events and by my emotions. I have a few songs where I get into a more emotional vibe, such as my song Ghost in the Machine, which features a very deep lyrical aspect as well as a nice emotional vibe.

Good and Worse thing about Hip hop according to your experience?
Hip-hop is hands down the best genre because it is one of the few genres that have such a competitive aspect to it; everyone wants to be the best. However on the flip side, a lot of mainstream hip-hop in Canada perpetuates a message of intense drug usage, such as lean, molly, and xans which I don’t really agree with. However I do agree with lighter usage, such as weed, alcohol, etc. which you can hear in some of my music.
 
Is there any difference between Canadian Hip hop and other countries hip hop?
Canadian hip-hop is in a very interesting state right now with the likes of Drake, The Weeknd, Tory Lanez, and Nav all being at the forefront of the industry in Canada. There is a large emphasis on the mood that is created by the song as opposed to the lyrics. For example a sad song would make you feel sad as opposed to convey a message of sadness. However that doesn’t represent all of Canadian hip-hop as there are many other famous artists who focus on the lyrical aspect. This definitely differs from many styles of hip-hop in the USA, where lyrics are the most important thing.
 
Do you listen to South African hip hop? If yes, who do you think runs South African hip hop?
I do listen to some South African artists such as Cassper Nyovest, and I love the style of hip-hop that comes from South Africa, especially the strong usage of drums. However, I don’t think I know enough of the South African hip-hop scene to know who runs it.

What makes Riley different from other hip hop artists?
What makes me different from many other hip-hop artists is the depth of my lyrics, many of which have even been used as quotes on Instagram, and I am only improving lyrically as I progress. I also believe I am so different from other artists because I do everything on my own. I write my own lyrics, I make beats, I mix, I master, and I do it all. I have even done photo shoots and music videos entirely on my own. Stay tuned for the photo-shoot pictures to come out.
 
Who are the Amazing people or organizations have you worked with in this hip hop game?

Who intimidates you around your area when it comes to dropping lines?
No one intimidates me in my area when it comes to dropping lines, because I know I can come back with better bars, and I plan to show this at the 5 vs 5 rap battles scheduled to happen in September at the Bourbon room.
 
Surely there’s someone out there who wishes to be like Riley, how can you motivate them?
I have had a few fans tell me that they could be like me, or asked me how to get to where I have gotten so far. And all I can say is work your hardest, work to get better before you plan to get big. Last summer I dropped a song every week in an effort to improve, and now I am only dropping the best of my music and this combination has been doing great for me.

Tumelo Thando “Melo V” Vilakazi born on the 12^th of November 1991, this is a South African hip hop recording artist, producer and sound engineer from Springs, Kwa-Thema, also noted as a record producer under the pseudonym DHD (Double Headed Dragon)
Melo V Started making music at very young age and later on went on to study Sound Engineering at Emendy College where he gained a lot of knowledge about his mixing and mastering, although he could not finish his course due to performances, he then ran his home studio, engineering songs for local artists as he raised funds.
He started his own indie record label DTRL/Drug Muzik and later on met a great producer by the name of Lord Jazz where they merged companies / ideas to form Splendid Drug Muzik.

Melo V released his debut mixtape (The Genesis Tape) on the 12^th of November 2012 which was a compilation of the tracks that he produced and mixed with different artists rapping on them.
Galactic Myth Vol 1 by DHD was released on the 22^nd of July 2013 where he introduced a new a different sound mixing jazz elements with syths to form what he describes as a Groovey spacey house, he also introduced his alter ego DHD (Double Headed Dragon)
As a recording artist, Melo V shifted away from production and let’s Lord Jazz to go ahead and handled all the production of his projects, they then planned to release an alien trilogy EP series in 2014, yet only one EP dropped from the trilogy which was Love Live Life EP, they managed to work with an international artist from the UK by the name Vipz.

In 2015 Melo V released another EP entitled Friday The 13^th (Something Happening on a horror flick), this gave him his first online presence, with the wave set he dropped his debut Mixtape Pink Walls which he and Lord Jazz describe it as an experimental project that somehow worked out, it received online reviews across Africa and also gave him his underground presence and had more than 5000 downloads where he was als recognized by big names such as Spoek Mathambo.
2016 He dropped his 2^nd mixtape The [I] TAPE which received the amount of love like Pink Walls did, they described this project as ‘Innovating Art’, with songs like Money, [I]nsane and Conversat[I]ons getting radio air play was set to be a good year for the artist but he unfortunately had a car accident and was hospitalized, this caused him to take full year break in 2017.
In 2018 under new management by Pros he is set to release a new project The Butterfly Age.
He has gained street cred in his hood and Pretoria by performing in shows and sessions and working with a lot of indie artist such as Dee-Tokx, K scripts, Tee skillz, Steezy Stylish, JSK and Gatez also producers like Mango FBD, Musa Del Rico, LV and Winston Underdog.

I am a poet and loved words all my life, I think that gave birth to the hip hop inside me.
My big brother Mlungisi was a hip hop and kwaito fan, I remember him playing me Lauyn Hill The Miseducation for the first time, till today I can’t describe the feeling I had, that album was the beginning of Melo V, at a very young age I started doing cyphers and was just a rapper back then. I met a friend in PTA while I was studying, he had studio convinced me to lay some bars I did and the rest is just history.
I've had good experiences with hip-hop, dropping my debut tape Pink Walls getting good reviews from it and exceeding my expectation via downloads, my best moment was getting in boxed by Spoek, it's a passion for me and culture. I don't focus much on the industry, I just focus on my craft, the bad experience in this is sacrificing time from your loved ones, this is a dream and chasing it consumes a lot of time, I have kids with my girl and I hardly spend time with them because of this dream .
I don't wanna be like any rapper Lol… I use to flow a bit like Big L but through creativity and talks I've had with Spoek, he made me realise that finding yourself is the most important thing to do in this rap game.
I'm not intimidated by any rapper, I believe all rappers should never feel that way.
Look at it this way, this is a competitive sport you need to always feel and know how you defeat the opponent, if you are in a room as a rapper and it's filled with other rappers, you need to always feel like you are the best.

Ntsako also known as Chris Shikuhele was born and raised at Elim, a well developing village in Limpopo. I went to Lemana High School and came to JHB to further my studies. My first choice of study was Fine Art, however Life has a way of showing us that we cannot always have what we want therefore I had Graphic Design as my second option and I am grateful that I got to study it because of the outcome and many opportunities it has.
I have studied a Diploma in Graphic Design and Web Development at Rosebank College in Braamfontein. I completed and graduated in 2013. I have been doing professional designs from the moment I received my Diploma. Early 2013 I started designing for KiD NiNO Clothing and it was in 2014 October where I felt it was time to put it out there.

Who or what got you into Fashion?
Big local clothing brands and other international brands, I felt like I could also come up with something better and unique, something that I created on my own. Though it wasn’t easy coming up with the ideas and the concept but it was worth it.
What is the Best and worst thing about Fashion industry according to your experience?
For me, the worst thing about the Fashion Industry is when you are starting, convincing people why your idea will work is not easy until they actually see the final product and gaining their trust as well, it’s also really challenging to know where to get material for merchandise, there is also a lot of competition however that is also a good thing because there is no time to be comfy, you always have to be innovative, bringing new ideas to the industry which pushes you to do and be better than the next competitor and you get to meet new people with new ideas, I Remember meeting someone who got the merchandise from a guy, when she found out the I am the founder she was so excited and she said she couldn’t wait to tell her friends, that’s something I didn’t expect and it made me feel proud of what I am doing.

KiD NiNO, please take us to it, what is the motive behind the brand and who or what is its market target?
The motive behind the KiD NiNO Clothing is to help show anyone that it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from, if you want to achieve something you can, if you are really determined. I always thought that the target market for the brand would be the Hip-Hop industry, however the outcome proved me wrong and I am really glad it did, Now everyone wants to wear the brand regardless of the age group, race or gender.

What changes will Kid Nino bring to the Fashion industry in the near future?
As we know that South Africa is one of the countries with the high unemployment rate, I really hope that as the brand dominates, it will open more employment opportunities and give back to the community in every part of the country and hopefully other countries too.

Before and after you met Dala FAM, what is the difference?
Before I met Dala FAM the business was going well but the moment we joined forces things started popping up and that’s where I saw the true potential of what the brand holds. I always wanted to see what I have created/ designed to be aired on TV, and as time went by, after a year I met with Dala FAM it was aired on MTVBASE and Channel O and it is getting more recognition than it did before. I also have another musical artist by the name of De Mogul SA wearing and representing the brand clothing.

Word of Motivation
The world is full of creative ideas and innovations, start where you are, with what you have, Let no one tell you that you cannot achieve what you want to achieve, I am from a village and no one could have guessed that there would be a really nice Clothing Brand from where I came from, So go out, there do what you believe in, don’t wait for someone to believe in what you do, always believe in yourself and one other thing that we should always remember is that. We aren’t in this world to live forever but to create something that will.

Jeremiah “J-Killer” Matlawe Mvinjelwa, a talented rapper, song writer, performer and recording artist born on the 09th of September 1994 in Kagiso, Krugersdorp.
J-killer is the second born of six boys and two girls.
From a poor background J-killer was raised by a single mother together with his siblings, he later moved to Klipfontein to live with his father and other siblings.
J-killer is half Tswana and half Xhosa. He loves to explore, he’s a good listener and a hard worker.
He believes in higher power that doesn’t fall under any race or religion.
With the influence from a soccer star, J-killer was encouraged by his father to play soccer, during that time he mixed with boys from different backgrounds and that made him join a dance crew dancing “Isibhujwa”.

He realized his music calling in 2008. He started writing songs until 2010 when he first set his foot in the studio booth.
Jeremiah got the name J-killer from his friends; they say he sounds like he is killing someone or something when he recites his lyrics due to the energy and expression that he gives.
J-killer’s style of rapping is influenced by artists such as: Tyga, Ab-soul, Prokid, Eminem and The game.
J-killer was groomed by Mandrie Baloyi who mentored him in his music career.
She taught him a lot about the music industry, like how to engage the crowd when he’s on stage, how to find tune.
She also encouraged him to have his own signature and style as a musician, that’s an important attribute in the industry that is flooded with upcoming artists.
She helped him to get a record deal with some of the established recording companies but unfortunately due to internal issues, therefore they never got the opportunity to record an album.

In 2014 J-killer joined forces with Crazy Distractors and they released an Album of 12 tracks “Kushubile” under Prozone Records owned by Mandrie Baloyi in Tembisa. J-killer then decided to go solo after that project.
In 2015 he was signed by Masana Records in Soweto on a four month contract but his album could not be released due to lack of resources.
In 2016 he was working with Record Straight Records but he didn’t sign any documents with them.
2017 J-Killer decided to be an independent hip-hop artist and has achieved a lot in the industry. 2014 he shared a stage with Naakmusiq and Smallz Money Maker during the Smallza money maker birth day celebration.
In 2015 he shared the stage with DJ Shimza’s chamber music during the Vw Show,
On the 20th of September 2015 he shared a stage with Zakwe when he was launched the “Impanda album” featuring Siya Shezi, Big Zulu on the stage at Leondale Phumula Shisa Nyama.
J-killer has collaborated with a jazz artist Shantel Semenya, he wrote lyrics for two tracks “See me coming” and “You let me down”.
He also collaborated with Smokey aka Dollar on the track “Call YNND” which was released on datafilehost and had over 15k downloads in one week.
Early 2017 he released a hit single entitle Way Up
J-killer believes that with the talent and passion he has for music, the constant motivation and support from his family, he is still to reach even greater heights within the industry.

Word on the street is that the hard-hitting Ep entitled “Deeper than You Know” is what the best up-coming Trouble Rapper J-killer is busy with in the studio, preparing for release in the next coming months, the release date will be announced soon.
There’s even talk of a potential (They Thought I was finished) track to be included on the EP.
The world of hip-hop might seem like a difficult point of entry to challenge queer stereotypes, but a new wave of artists are claiming their place in the world of bling with genres like hip hop homocore music.
This artist has brought his own brand without any help from music companies or an investors, he’s on his own battles on his own movements  Dropping words like ‘Amir obe’, ‘Tory Lance , ‘Sjava SA, etc.
J-killer his now an independent artist after resigning from the company that he was signed under for 3 years.
He is now working on the EP mentioned earlier after the dope single Release entitled Don't lie That went viral on the Street of Pretoria including Johannesburg.

From the dusty streets of kasi to living his dream, J-killer is from Tembisa just outside Midrand who actually had a dream of making it big in the entertainment industry. He started his hustle ekasi, with a group of friends and later on went solo. That was a break -through for him, through his first single that went big (Ngiyasebenza) that was followed by "Way up" that also made waves in the rap industry.
Music is not the only thing  he's determined to do, he has an agency “Ubuntu Models” that gives youth a chance to showcase their talents, so it’s not only about making himself succeed but also opening opportunities for youth to grow with.

Risk (Real name Don Phillip) is a Namibian (A country in the Southern parts of Africa) Rapper and Composer from the group Young Ballers.
He began writing poems at the age of 11 and discovered his rapping skills by 'mistake' at the age of 13 when they had freestyle battles in class and on one occasion, somebody dissed him. Choosing not to be left embarrassed in front of his crush back then, he decided to drop a freestyle dissing back the opponent. To his surprise, the whole class was nodding their heads back and forth going with his flow. He received a lot of applause from the class and they declared him winner of the battle. The class thought he was an experienced rapper while it was his first time.
The rest is history.
 
However, before all that, he listened to Tupac, Eminem and R. Kelly.
Risk is a poet and lyricist who always tries to transfer his emotions into the music he does. He calls his music 'Sentimental Rap' with 'Dark thoughts', his song writing skills are a shadow of his poems.
His music is based on personal experience and of those around him. With the ability to speak more than four international languages, he brings flavours of French and Portuguese to his music that is generally in English. Risk knows all about life in the streets and always says; “Just because i have no tattoos and scars on my face, don't mean I'm not from the streets!” Risk has had mixed experiences in his life that he claims 'Needs a book and a movie'
 
Risk is the sound engineer of Young Ballers, he has been producing and helping other upcoming artists in Namibia using his own resources for the past five years.
In addition to that, he has worked with the Industrie’s greats. With the likes of the late Eclipse, Bertholdt, Desmond, JBlack who are all Namibians and international producers such as Crank Lucas, Anno Domini and Maxxon Priddy from the USA.

He recently dropped his debut tape titled Listen At Own Risk which is available in all online streaming platforms. His music is featured in two major Spotify playlists with over 100k listeners combined.

Why hip hop?
When I was young, I used to listen to The Game and 2pac’s (Makhaveli) songs and i got inspired. Then started to write my own Hip hop lines

You’ve just released a hit, No Mercy (prod by Cyber Beats), what is the motive behind the track and how has it been working with Cyber Beats?
Yeah, the track is about what i have gone through, it values me, I have been working with Cyber Beats as my producer. This is how the song No Mercy came out; I was rehearsing the song just drafting, then Cyber Beats just came out with the beat and that was it
