It is Sango O'clock in the Hip hop Game

What got me into hip hop is the rhythm it has. I got excited when I heard any hip hop back in the days,
I started miming on tracks I choose as my favourite. What was important for me was the philosophy the genre had in me and I kept it on lock until now.
Sango has a very wide versatile personality. He is a media studies student at Boston Media House. Sango is an aspiring producer/sound engineer currently involved in film making.
"The best thing that has happened in Mzanzi hip hop is that Casper Nyovest has done a lot for the culture in general.
He has showed that something might seem impossible to do when you talk about it, but when you get to do it and experience the efforts; you end up inspiring a lot of people.
Another thing is that our fellow artists get to collaborate with international acts and open the market widely." Said Sango

The best advice I could give to others is to invest in the craft. Take your work seriously and focus on your lane, people will always talk and only take criticism that is constructive and motivating and let the rest take its course.

What is the Story Behind Your Stage Name?
What inspired my name is my community in my hometown, Oudtshoorn, while I was using a different name “Elrido da Vaughn” a grootman by the name Ta Kola in my home town gave me advice and told me to change my stage name to Sango cause they know Sango, also I should be proud of the name cause it means a lot and they will be able to recognize it and support me fully.

What is the Motive behind Your Music?
The motive behind my music is my authenticity and who I am. I write about what is happening in my daily life. Cheezy Mabena is also making sure that I only do that when we in studio.

Where do you see Sango in the Near future?
We see ourselves up there succeeding and have a greater bond with God, my manager and public relations agent Rachel Sebotja is always coming up with strategies and what is going to be good for the brand.
We are soon starting to host our own shows and doing tours, taking the music to the people and build relationships, make memories that will last forever going to the top.

The things that disturb the market is the issue of piracy and as an upcoming artist we intend to get people to stream at least if they hesitate to buy the actual song/album or Ep.
Another thing is that promoters want us to perform for free in the name of exposure. What improves the market, I think it would be unity amongst each other and be there for each other.

Wise Words
I would say how well you understand your craft and how you are about it, a person that respects the skill and the team that is around him.

Shout Outs
I would like to send a shout out to the team of Sango Xhosa, Rachel, Cheezy, Hlokomelo, Oakley 808, Nomagugu, Marvin M, my family and my supporters
