After the trendy and thought provoking music video of the song "This Is America" by Childish Gambino, people started discussing subject- matters addressed on the song including police brutality and gun violence in America. Other artists around the world started releasing very similar songs addressing their countries' issues as well. We've by far seen This Is Nigeria, This Is Jamaica and more other songs that trended as well due to the portrayal of issues faced by those countries.
Now, South African Rapper, Jovislash decided to do his version titled "This Is South Africa" where he decided to concentrate on one issue that South Africa is currently facing, femicide.
