Fresh off the tremendous success of her debut album release, accomplished South African producer Kay Faith is making headlines once again. She proudly announces that she has been one of the lead composers for one of the South African created episodes for the up-and-coming Disney+ series Kizazi Moto – Generation of Fire.

This episode was directed by Tshepo Moche and fully scored by Kay Faith with songwriting and vocal performances by Rethabile Khumalo.
"Kizazi Moto - Generation of Fire" is an action-packed animated sci-fi anthology. The series presents ten futuristic visions from Africa inspired by the continent’s diverse histories and cultures.
Executive produced by Oscar®-winning director Peter Ramsey, these ten short films made by a new generation of animation creators draw on uniquely African perspectives to imagine brave new worlds of advanced technology, aliens, spirits, and monsters.
This is Africa as you’ve never seen it before.
Notably, the series also features renowned South African talents like Nasty C, Zulu Mecca, and the legendary Lilian Dube. Faith mentions that for the episode she worked on titled “First Totem Problems” you can expect to hear a soundtrack that truly represents authentic South African sounds like Kwaito, Gqom and even Amapiano.
