Meet Clemour, a singer/ songwriter, poet, instrumentalist and a music Arranger, he describes his unique style as a “Mashup of Electro-Blues". He is the founder of Clemour Music.
Clemour is a finalist on the Voice South Africa (a Music show broadcasted by Mnet/Multichoice); where he was mentored by the 2 SAMA award winning band Parlotones front man Kahn Morbee.
Clemour, formed part of the two singers who took it all the way to the finals in Team Kahn.
During his time on The Voice SA he performed and shared the stage with the 4 Grammy Award Winning Ladysmith Black Mambazo, performed with the Mzansi Youth Choir and performed with Kahn Morbee from the Parlotones in the Finale of the Voice SA . During the show he also worked closely with great Artists Such as Lira, Karen Zoid, Bobby Van Jaarsveld and the legendary Vicky Sampson. Recently, Clemour was chosen by the South African National Rugby Team management “The Springboks” to sing the South African National Anthem when they played against Australia on the 1st of October 2016 in an International Test Match. Clemour is recognized as one of the best musicians that has ever sung the South African national Anthem. During his time on the show, Clemour was featured on Balcony TV (internationally Recognized programme)
The rising star has been commended on several occasions for the hard work he does to hone his talent and for the passion he displays during his performances and the Excellency he brings through rendering of services through Clemour Music.
Now Clemour started an enormous annual event entitled “The Night Before Christmas with Clemour”. The aim of this annual event is to install a new mindset of the meaning of Christmas to the rural communities. This will automatically give a different understanding into how people should celebrate Christmas through music.
Clemour teamed up with his friends to make this event to be a success and also bringing together different families from different communities to unite and become one big family, meaning that The Night Before Christmas with Clemour is a family thing.
This event is also a giving back to the community platform as they are collaborating with “Another Chance Foundation” from Fountain of Life Christian Church/Center.
The funds raised from the event will help a lot as it will be part of the contribution to the vulnerable individuals of different communities.
