Other people call him “The Black Slim Shady” because of the way he rhymes.??
G.ice is the name he gave himself while he was still in high school, The name Means a private soldier in the US Army.??
He grew up in Chavani Village raised by his granny and single mom, He matriculated in 2007, went to Joburg to study Paramedic and fire fighter with computer studies.
His first ever title track was entitled Chavani, the song talked about Chavani Village in general, the track was a banger… It made history all over media and Chavani. His music is motivational and speaks about trials and tribulations of everyday life... something his fans can relate to. And as a rapper he is aware of the value of making his mark.
After his 1st EP Release, everyone in his hood started following his footsteps of being a rapper. "Now they call me the "EYE" coz they see through me, and they call me "Father" of Rap in C.H coz they saying I'm the one who fed them.??" says G.Ice

2 PAC got me into hip hop, but Eminem made me fall in love with it more??

R&B , I just like RnB because it fills my heart with love
What is The Good and The Worst thing about Hip hop according to Your Experiences?
The Good thing about hip hop is that it has many followers and it's not that difficult to rap on a well prepared beat.
Worst thing is Being underground, people who have that power to uplift and take you to where you want to be hardly notice your work because they have no time for you.
Do you think Chavani Hip hop is Losing direction or it is on the right track?
Well I'll say 5% is on the right track
What mistakes do you think upcoming artists do that makes their music not to get a breakthrough?
It's like we doing this music thing for fun, lyrics with no massage... that makes us to end up nowhere, people learn nothing but violence through our music, we don't even support each other like One Fam. Any way big up?? to those who are doing a great work
Your first Hit “Chavani”, What was the Motive behind it?
Well I was sick n tired of seeing younger people destroying their lives by abusing alcohol, drugs, unwanted pregnancies and the killing that was taking place. It was so sad ? and it made me wrote the track and entitled it ?? "Chavani" that became a hit.
Is there another hit bigger than “Chavani” that you've released in your music journey?
Lol of course Yes and they are many
What are your future plans in the Hip Hop Game?
Having my own company and assist our upcoming musicians to full fill their dreams.
