I would definitely be a full time Business man
What is the good and the bad thing about being a Rapper around your hood?
The good thing is that those who understand the craft like hiphop and poetry are appreciative and supportive of what we do.
The bad thing is the perception that we trying to live a borrowed lifestle, we think we better than everyone, things like we are not proud of our culture etc.

How is the response from your family and friends towards your music journey?
My family and friends are supportive and proud of the fact that I do music.
Gy Gee… what’s the story behind this stage name?
Gy Gee oh let me break down. The Gy Stands for Giyani and The Gee was initially just "G" and stands for General like an army General. So in short Gy Gee stands for GIYANI GENERAL. I didn't name myself that but a Rapper friend from Congo called Inferno used to call me The Gy General in cyphers back in my varsity days at UJ and that name stuck with me since then.
What is this one thing you wish to change about Tsonga Rap?
I wanna introduce the indigenous Tsonga Sounds into Tsonga Rap, so it has a unique and a distinctive appeal.
What do you Love Most about your fans when you are on stage?
The sense of joy , enjoyment and authentic interaction always thrills me.
