2023 had too much delays cause of the challenges I've been facing, I even failed to get nominated cause I was in a process of recovering so I couldn't give my fans nothing, and another thing is because many artists been droppin in December, I know this January they are tired so there's no too much noise and the poeple will be able to focus on one artist…

Tbg is an abbreviation for Tebogo, and Rafael Was added up since I was using Tbg Ra before .(The Ra Coming From My Surname Rabohale)

The song is called Famba Kaya. This was a really good song ever. When we released Famba Kaya, people were against us. But time went on until I'm on the street people, used to ask "Hey you are RkAy? the one who dropped hottest lyrics on Famba Kaya Song?". After 1 week, Gig organisers where calling us, getting booked whaya whaya. On social media like WhatsApp and Facebook they also created new trend using the song title.
How is the response from your family and friends towards your music journey?
They always tell me that I must not give up on what I have started, I have to complete everything I started
RkAy Lyrics SA… what’s the story behind this stage name?
Rkay is the name from people. 7 year's back when we were still young I used to stay with Pree CK and & Prj, so people Used to call me Rkay just because those two names; Pree ck & Prj rhymed with the “ay” sound at the end. After that, my people gave me another name, of Mr Killer Vers, because by that time i was the best lyrical Boxer on the beat.
What is this one thing you wish to change about hip hop in South Africa?
Rapping style, I would like to come with my own style.

Flash Cortez (Real Name Kislev Ramanyimi) (born July 27, Limpopo, Elim, Waterval, South Africa),
Flash Cortez is a South African rapper, record producer, and songwriter who was known as the most talented and underrated artist during 2017-2022.
Flash Cortez had an unstable childhood, marked by poverty and many things that affected him. At the age of 17, he began rapping in various events around Elim, and that's when he started to be known by a few people in his hometown. As Flash Cortez, he made a name for himself in the hip-hop underground, both as solo artist and as a member of Black Ghost Records (also known as BGR). His first song, Dear Mama (2013), sold poorly. However, he continued to write more songs.
When Flash Cortez recorded 'I'm Back (2017)' in Mingard, he came to the attention of Dr Clipper & Flexion, founding members of Black Ghost Records. By that time, Flash had developed the persona of Kid Flash, who gave voice to Flash Cortez's ID in often fast rap and clean lyrics. With Dr Clipper as his mentor and Flexion as his producer, Flash Cortez released 'BGR, Hits Only, Real Damage, Going Up and December'. Benefiting from the support he got from his family and friends, he was nominated at the local awards.
In 2018, Flash Cortez released 'Faka Zaka', which blew up a little bit in Elim after it was certified that Flash Cortez might be the fastest rapper at Waterval. Flash Cortez does not have an album or an EP. He only worked on mutiple singles under On God Audio with Jaybeatz and Star-Hood (Blvck Kiddy). He also created his own underground label, R-CitY Rec. The Elim collective, Webster, Pamela, Amina Ray, and other artists signed to and released singles with the label.
Flash Cortez returned in 2020 with a freestyle and a song titled 'Feel Me', produced by King Vumbi, which proved to be nearly popular. From there, he did not release any song since he was busy with academics. In 2021, Flash Cortez came to the attention of Mr Makapeni, who welcomed him with warm hands. Under Mr Makapeni, Flash Cortez released 'Our Time, Wa' Me In, All I Know and Mission'.
Flash Cortez started getting known after he did a freestyle at Polokwane, Bolivia Lodge, during the SCSA (Save the Children) workshop.
In 2022, Flash Cortez released 2 snippets, which went viral (Together and Lil' Shawty). Afterward, he did an open verse challenge launched by Chezman, and he became the winner of the challenge. During the same month of celebration, Flash Cortez came to the attention of Dala Fam, founder of NuSkool Rap Ent. Dala Fam provided Flash Cortez with events, and that's when he started to grow musically. Flash Cortez and Dala Fam also worked on a single titled 'Winning', which has not yet been released.
Flash Cortez's single, Together, continued to go viral until it was replaced by 'Lil Shawty'. After some few months, Flash Cortez released 'Together' featuring Yung Cuss. In addition, Flash Cortez collaborated with Nebo SixFour and released 'Lil Shawty', which went viral since its release date until today.

Smaddy Wend (Real Name Muhlanga Nel) is a South African Rapper, born in Limpopo, he began his music career as a musician composure at the age of ten. His icon began to amount when he met Dollar Bill an upcoming producer who co-signed him to his label Black Growth Media.
In 2022 Smaddy Wend dropped his debut mixtape titled "Mr. Muhlanga" which featured a Deluxe Edition. In the mixtape he features artists from his village which includes Leon Hlabathi, Lester Matthews, Manotry & D$llar Bilĺ-Rsa. The Deluxe edition version included collaborations with JuicyKiller sa, SlayZane & Smacc LeHippie.
The mixtape features a hit song titled "Passion Fruit" featuring Leon Hlabathi, the song was the lead single of the mixtape & it reached streams from around the world, with Finland being the most streaming country.
Smaddy Wend's goal is to make it outside of South Africa, he doesn't want to be famous in his place of citizenship because he doesn't want to be the center of attention. His music reflects on the reality of his life, and he's willing to shed light on other countries to clear the beliefs & misconceptions of his country.
