Who is your main inspiration in the hip hop game?
-Woow, Where' would I even begin? I get inspired by alot of artists. growing up, I've listened to Hip Hop music involved as genre, from old school to new school but the 1st time I was introduced to Hip Hop it was Spaza music, then out of that I was introduced to the likes of Tupac, Biggie, Lil Kim, Queen Latifah and so forth.
What is the good and the bad thing about being a female rapper in your hood according to your experiences?
- Well I grew up from one City to Another, i don't really have a hood or City that I'd say I'm from or are holding me down and I really don't mind cause sometimes where you from can restrict you from being a better version of yourself. Sometimes that comes with a lotta expectation on how your sound should be, so I'd say being a female rapper comes with alot of males thinking they can have an easy pass on you cause you're a female and sometimes not taken seriously cause you don't fit a certain stereo personality they want you to.
• Music, Acting and Radio Presenting… if you were to choose one, what would it be and why?
-Hahaha Woow, didn't see this one coming, I'd still chose music mainly because it was embedded into me since I was baby and coming from a musical background. But I love all three. Acting has made me a better performer cause I always have to be in character cause I'm naturally an Introvert.
• What makes a good Rapper in your opinion?
-Good Flow - You need to need a great sense of rhythm and vocal agility. It's not necessarily how fast you can rap, but how accurately your words land on every beat. Also, it's important switch it up to keep it interesting.
Emotion - What I mean by this is that you don't necessarily have to be edgy, cool, or exciting, but just captivate your listener through conveying whatever emotions you're expressing. For example, if it's a sad, heartwrenching song, play into it. Rap is very a theatrical genre of music. Of course it doesn't have to borderline campy, but have some emotion. Make your listeners feel your happiness, sadness, joy, excitement, or whatever!
Enunciation - It really depends, but for the most part, the listener needs to understand your words to a certain degree unless it's a stylistic choice. Mumble rappers aren't that bad. It just depends on the context.
Vocal Presence - A good rapper has a round voice that can command the listener. Obviously, this is very subjective, but they need a voice that is not only heard, but captivating.
Personality - Being a rapper is like a brand. You need to craft your own persona to really connect with your listeners. However, that doesn't mean you should be one-dimensional. Your personality should be dynamic enough to at least cover different moods, styles, and sometimes even genres.
Lyricism - This is extremely important. Your lyrics, if well-written, should read like a great book of poetry.
What is one thing that you love when you are on stage performing?
-When people sing along to your songs and just being in the moment. For me being on the stage is when I am most alive and I can be whomever I want to be. You know that nervousness you get and those sweaty palms that can you having the best nights/moments of your life.
How is the response from your family and friends towards your music journey?
-Only one or 2 of my friends has seen me perfom lol. Not even one of my family members has seen me perfom unless on Tv but never in real life. It's always people that you don't know that will always give you the most support. If you have people in your cycle that support your hustle, you are the luckiest human being on the planet and don't take it for granted.
What do you Write about on most of the songs that you write?
-Recently I've written songs mostly about Love, betrayal, grief and more love lol..
I have an Ep coming as Enigma BoomtrapQueen and another Joint Ep as S. A. M ( Simply. About. Music) with RxchUnknown who has been pushing me outside of a battle Enigma and for me to embrace my vocals and femininity. I've been hardcore all my entire career and now people get to see the other side of me. Doing Good Music..
What is this One Song that made a lot of people love you or one that made people know about Enigma?
-It's Definitely No Validation and Haibo but I can't choose from both.
Enigma… what is the story behind this stage name?
-Enigma BoomTrapQueen soon to be Nigma was given to me by an old friend of mine who said my personality and music capabilities were total opposites and couldn't phantom how could I be one person when I make music and how raw and beastly I sounded and how my natural personality contradict that. Lol An enigmatic person is someone who is a bit mysterious to others. Behind an enigmatic smile are thoughts impossible to guess.Enigmatic people can control their emotions and passions so that the front they present to the world appears composed, calm and unruffled.
Few years to come, where will Enigma?
-Expanding in the Industry not just as a musician but an Artist at large. Hopefully I can one day start my own scouting agency, mentor young women and change lives.
What are the wise words can you tell to a person who wishes to be where you are?
-It gets tough, it get scary, it's never easy, Lotta people will doubt your capabilities but whatever happens never lose faith in yourself and understand you're are here for a reason. You got that gift for a reason. So use it and break barriers.

Tsonga Trap Star… what’s the motive behind this Album name?
I have released Two Ep’s, in 2021 and 2022. On both Ep’s I was still trying to find myself & sound, in the process of that people developed a lot of interest in Tsonga hip hop since i was introducing the new sound /style . A lot of people been doing Trap music but not in Tsonga, with me trapping in Tsonga, I got the name “TsongaTrapStar” from the late (DJ Citylights), So in the process of working on this Album I decided since this is my first ever Album & am going fully in Trap then let me name it “Tsonga Trap star “ as introduction of what I do .
If you were to name your EP using one of your track’s title, which track would it be and why that track?
I wouldn’t really Title the Album based on One song as they usually do , For me every song in the Album has its own vibe & I wrote or rather recorded each of them while I was in a different space interms of state of mind hence each song hits different . I don’t really name the whole project based on a name of the song even my previous Ep’s the name has the meaning that covers almost each & every song in there.
How long did it take to complete the whole Album from A to Z?
Approximately 6 months.

The whole Album you only had 3 artists Featured (Mahlatse, SickGodfrey & Simefree) How was the experience working with them?
It was quite amazing since they are all not just Artists & producers but also people I know personally, we have relationship so it was quite awesome & simple for me to reach out , and all of them know exactly the type of sound I do or rather like hence they jumped in immediately.
What can the fans expect from This hot EP?
As we just dropped now (28/01/2023), this year we going to be dropping two videos a month until the end of the year, so I promise my supporters more content & maybe I will consider releasing singles we will see as the year goes.
Are you panning to do remixes on any of the tracks on this EP?
No, it’s not part of the plan, but if I happen to be with the right people at the right place & we all consider doing that then I might.

Ndonewa Nesengani artistically known as Lester Matthews is a music producer, songwriter and film maker, mainly doing music in English and the South African native languages of Xitsonga and Tshivenda.
Lester was born and raised in Chavani, a village in the most northern province of South Africa, called Limpopo. Having being raised by his grandparents from a young age, he developed an adventures personality that led him to discover interests in things like graphic design, website developing and most importantly music.
Like any other 90s kid, Lester was Influenced by international artists like lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Dj khaled and the YMCMB roaster and fell in love with music, but It wasn’t until around 2010 when he discovered local rappers like Mizo Phyll, Mavraga, Mac J and others that he actually started writing and thinking about making his own music, from copying and rewriting the lyrics to his favourite songs by local artists, his thirst for music was growing.
Neighbourhood rappers from his area also played a major part in his early music career, not only did they inspire him, they made him realise that making music isn’t completely impossible and that he can do it too, he just needed to find the right people.
When 2011 came around, not only did he find the right people in SBC (Small Boys Club), an upcoming local music group which consisted of Manotry, Hectik and Young Rollet, he found lifelong friends. After the group invited him to their studio which was ran by G.ICE a rapper from the neighbourhood and he recorded his first verse ever which was basically rewritten lyrics from a song by Bomo Unlimited mixed with lyrics from other songs and a few original lines, he never looked back.
Starting his own studio in 2012 and learning how to engineer, mix and master music and design covers for his songs, he went head deep into music making, starting out solely as a rapper and then transitioning into a more singing role, by 2014 Not only had he launched his career into music, he had also also provided a space for local artists to record and horn their own skills, free of charge.
Taking a break to focus on other things from 2015 to 2017, he returned to making music full time in 2018 when he moved back to his home village and hasn’t stopped stoped since then.

Mabasa Rito Deon Also known by his stage name "RTEE dope" is a South African Rapper, Singer, Song Writer and Presenter
His Debut Single is Entitled "No Cap", which also happened to be a hit that made a lot of people fall in love with his music.
The song went viral across social media where a lot of people got surprised by how how he delivered his verses and flows, and mostly his voice on the song.

"The Rare Art”; what’s the story behind this EP title
The story behind The Rare Art is yet to unfold but the project is basically just a representation of what i do and where my sound was at the moment of production so those are just a couple of songs i have selected to let people listen and hopefully stick around to whats coming
How different Would it have been if you used one of the song’s title as the name of the EP?
If i had to do that, it would have to been titled after the song "2Rare" this project is about me, i am rare so yea that would work, but it would make a difference to how the project sound and feel
Is this your first EP ever released or there’s other EPs or Albums that you’ve dropped previously?
No this is my fourth, I've released Rare EP in 2016, Tripyy EP in 2018 , INSECURITIES in 2020 and other collaboration projects
Which song is your favourite out of all 6 songs?
My favourite song out of the six would be 2Rare the first song, I think it describes Me well
“Heal Me” has two versions, are you also planning to do the same to all the songs in future?
I am currently working on my next project and i havent made a song where i feel like it needs a second version but i do have a 2 songs in one type of situation.

This song is about everyone's experience as a human. Having a relationship with someone, it can be your partner or someone you really love and can't seem to let them go even though they might disappoint n disagree with them at times. In short, the song is about never letting go of someone you love no matter what Ya'll go through .

Worked on "Let You Go" alone actually, I made the beat, wrote the song, recorded myself and mixed and mastered the song myself.

Ntiyiso Ngobeni known professionally as Trippy Rare is a South African rapper, record producer & digital visual artist. He is a member of a creative group LACONIC TRIBE under the proudly African independent record label called RAREBEATS RECORDS.
Trippy Rare was born and raised in Giyani section E in the Limpopo Province, on the 22nd of May 1994 and is currently Living in Soweto Gauteng province from 2010.
Trippy Rare was introduced to rap and music at a very young age by his parents. He later started rapping in 2009 through freestyle cyphers in high school. It has been an odyssey from there with him on the mic with his own unique (Rare) style of music or sound that carries personal, provocative, controversial, emotional yet fun and educative approach. The rapper’s lyrical content is bound to touch and move you.
In just a year or 2 after picking up the mic, Trippy Rare realised he needed instrumentals to compliment his lyrics, it was then that he endeavoured in to music production and engineering. Trippy Rare’s producing abilities grew exponential that other artists started being keen on collaborating with his unique instrumentals and further needed his Mixing & Mastering skills. Trippy Rare has produced a lot of music for himself & other up and coming artists.
After a few years of doing music and dropping out of a graphic design course at Boston Media House, Trippy Rare started to learn how to Shoot, Edit Videos applying some of his graphic design knowledge and has since then became unstoppable. Trippy Rare has designed artworks and edited videos for other artists, brands, companies including himself.
